PlainLanguage Pro (PLP) is an online, self-paced, skill-building module providing knowledge, assessment, and writing skills for implementing health literacy principles into consumer-facing health materials. The module equips professionals with plain language practices to create, evaluate, and refine effective health literacy materials that are easier for readers to understand and use. IHA strongly recommends completing the Health Literacy Specialist Certificate Communication course before taking this course. Learn the principles of using health literacy practices in:

Upon finishing the module, participants earn Continuing Education Credits and a Certificate.
